OPI - Be a Dahlia, Won’t You? From Nice Stems! Summer 2011 Collection.

Happy Valentine’s Day! Here are my current nails. 

It’s slightly a bit darker than pictured but it’s a super vibrant glass flecked shimmer. I don’t know if you can tell but it’s also violet-y sometimes in certain angles.

I had a convo today at work and it went like this:

Girl: OH I like your nails, where did you get them done?
Me:  I did them myself :)
Girl: Oh what kind of press-ons are they? They’re nice.
Me: These are my real nails.
Girl: What?! Really? …. Nice polish!
Me: Thanks! It’s an OPI colour called Be a Dahlia, Won’t You? It came out last summer with 3 other colours.
Girl: Oh great! Thanks! I will be sure to check that out.

Orly - Bubbly Bombshell
from this year’s Pin Up collection 

I initially thought that this was just a plain one shaped glitter polish but when I put on the first layer, I discovered that this glitter had 2 different shaped glitters in it. The colour is slightly darker in person, I would say it’s a deep fuchsia.

A thing you’ll notice about me is that I’m a sucker for glitters and this is no exception. IT’S SO PRETTY! 

You can get away with 2 thick coats but this was 3 thin coats, a layer of Gelous (to keep the bumpiness down), and one coat of Seche Vite. Which was pleasant because usually I’d do 2 layers of Gelous on some glitter polishes. They tend suck up the first layer somehow and stay gritty but not in this case :)
