OPI - Be a Dahlia, Won’t You? From Nice Stems! Summer 2011 Collection.

Happy Valentine’s Day! Here are my current nails. 

It’s slightly a bit darker than pictured but it’s a super vibrant glass flecked shimmer. I don’t know if you can tell but it’s also violet-y sometimes in certain angles.

I had a convo today at work and it went like this:

Girl: OH I like your nails, where did you get them done?
Me:  I did them myself :)
Girl: Oh what kind of press-ons are they? They’re nice.
Me: These are my real nails.
Girl: What?! Really? …. Nice polish!
Me: Thanks! It’s an OPI colour called Be a Dahlia, Won’t You? It came out last summer with 3 other colours.
Girl: Oh great! Thanks! I will be sure to check that out.

OPI - Fly (Nicki Minaj Collection)

After my gel polish removal (with the breakage of both my thumbnails :’( ) I knew this was the next polish to try. I got it a while back but finally got to use it! 

I LOVE this colour. I don’t have anything like it and application and everything was pretty perfect! It’s making me consider the rest of the line..

(the bf approved of this colour too! yay)

OPI’s Planks a lot & Milani’s Gold Glitz

I ended up going to both concerts with these on since they were in the same weekend. These were my first attempt to leopard print nails.. I think I did OK.

LOL they’re kind of awkward looking the more I stare at it.

*I wanted to use purple for my nails because of Prince but the gold was to kind of mix it up for the WTT concert the next day. To my delight, at Prince’s concert he had purple AND gold confetti fall down. Woo hoo!*

I had these nails on early December in celebration of one of my friend’s birthday (her favorite color is green) and Christmas.

OPI - Lincoln Park After Dark Matte

OPI - Warm & Fozzie

I love this polish! 

It’s a brown base with flecks of red, orange, and yellow. It’s like they packed fozzie bear into a nail polish bottle!

This is 3 coats.

OPI - Designer de better

A very pretty silver foil based polish with peachy, pink flecks.

This is 3 coats.

They’re hereeee! I spotted these today at the kiddy salon that is near my work place. 

OPI’s Muppets Glitters Left to Right: Rainbow Connection, Fresh Frog of Bel Air, Gettin’ Miss Piggy With It.

My awesome friend surprised me today with these 3 Muppet’s OPI glitters!

These were 3-4 thin coats each, by the time I swatched rainbow connection (swatched it last) my head was full of nail fumes LOL so I didn’t notice my bald spots for it til after I uploaded the photos.

All of these could be layered over other polishes for effects but I swatched them on it’s own. The glitters were chunky and in clear bases. 

Fresh Frog of Bel Air had bits of small green glitter and bigger hex green glitters with silver hex glitters.

Gettin’ Miss Piggy With It had red glitter with bigger red hex glitters and silver hex glitters.

Rainbow Connection is really special. I don’t even know where to start. There are pink, green, blue, orange, and, yellow glitters in three different sizes. The most prominent colour that I noticed was silver, although that’s with my lighting. It’s just super blingy!

By the end, I had Rainbow Connection’s lyrics stuck in my head. :P 

PS: Oh and if anyone’s wondering if Rainbow Connection is a Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday dupe, I don’t own it but have seen enough swatches to know that this is not a dupe.

PPS: I went to Sephora today and their Sephora by OPI colour Spark-tacular looks VERY similar..hmmm
