It’s a sad day. :( :(
Spring Chicken nails

Sarah from Chalkboard nails is hosting a contest where you use dotting tools to create your designs (check out her site for guidelines here) This is my entry.
I think it’s a wonderful contest to stirrup some creativity. There are so many ideas that you can use with dotting tools.
OPI - Be a Dahlia, Won’t You? From Nice Stems! Summer 2011 Collection.
Happy Valentine’s Day! Here are my current nails.
It’s slightly a bit darker than pictured but it’s a super vibrant glass flecked shimmer. I don’t know if you can tell but it’s also violet-y sometimes in certain angles.
I had a convo today at work and it went like this:
Girl: OH I like your nails, where did you get them done?
Me: I did them myself :)
Girl: Oh what kind of press-ons are they? They’re nice.
Me: These are my real nails.
Girl: What?! Really? …. Nice polish!
Me: Thanks! It’s an OPI colour called Be a Dahlia, Won’t You? It came out last summer with 3 other colours.
Girl: Oh great! Thanks! I will be sure to check that out.
You’re welcome OPI :P
On Friday I was watching “Paris, Je T’aime” and for Paris being known as the city of love, it gave me an idea for Valentine’s Day.
It also helps with practicing drawing lines and words because I need A LOT of practice haha. I wish I made the heart bigger so I could actually fit the words.
Here’s my red jelly franken with Sally Hansen’s Glass Slippers sandwiched in between.
I got bored so I decided to franken something. I ended up with a red jelly that I initially wanted to be a vampy bloody jelly but I left it at what it is, a berry colour. (maybe I should add more black..)
I should do a green or a blue jelly next time.
After putting on China Glaze’s Electric Beat, I noticed it was a very similar colour to this Stitch figurine that I have on my work desk. (I keep it near my Betta fish as a way of traumatizing him, jk, he’s not scared of it.. anymore :P)
So I decided after a few days to doodle on a stitch for fun. U can kind of see the pinky part of his ear on the left side if you look close.
Orly - Nite Owl
I didn’t think I’d like this colour as much as I actually do until I tried it. It’s got silver fine glitter bits that make this typical greige/taupey polish less boring. Reminds me of butter LONDON’s All Hail The/Mc Queen except that one’s got holographic specs.
Randumb but it’s very fitting that I mentioned this now because everytime I see ORLY I think of this guy:

butter LONDON - Knees Up.
Love this red, did these for the lunar new year :)
They’re my first attempt at halfmoons. I think they’d look better on rounded tips though.
**That bottle of macadamia healing oil treatment is the best. Saved my hair and the smell is divine.
